THe Eastern Star Passes the "Bar"
Ruth and I finished work at noon today and repaired to the "Ice House Bar" on the waterfront. Here we see the Eastern Star sailing close in.

We have had three warm days and nights and that makes five this summer.
The daylight is less extensive, everthing getting dark now a little around eight. This hot from Duke Street.
Whatever became of my art school classmates
Whatever became of the Owen's Gallery Crowd. This was the entire school for that time, lacking Pat Yerex and a couple more, who left the art school at Chritmas 1954. Sadly, I can no longer name everyone in this group photo taken from a yearbook of the time> Can anyone help?

Small sailing ships as seen from second floor
Another rare sight. There were nine boats in this flotilla. Usually they sail one or two at a time, and there was no particular festival this morning
