A house similar to ours.

This is not our home. There are actually about twenty of this design all built between 1880 and 1900. What's the style? Ascending and descending peculiarity in Lunenburg. Come and see for yourself. Not the most outlandish.

Find out more about the "Lunenburg Bump" on my website under "Lunenburg Architecture" on the hom, epage. Click above my image at left. This material is all new, not spell-checked and undoubtedly filled with errors. Help me? I want to keep expanding this part of my site and need info, old photos, interior shots, comments!

Violent Storm

Quite a different day from that when the Bluenose came home. This vessel has just made port amidst violent white caps which do not show well in this photo. This is not a craft based in Lunenburg so she has probably been forced to land by weather conditions. Again, taken from the Studio window.

Bluenose II arrives in Lunenburg July 4, 2007

She comes to berth under power and is seen here from my studio window passing the Railway Wharf and the Lady Janet in the foreground. In the middle distance, the headland of the golf course.

She has just returned from a month-long good will tour of the Eastern Seaboard of the United States.
